The firm’s Director, Julian Nixon, has advised a wide range of clients including large corporations, listed and unlisted companies, retail and investment banks, insurance companies, utilities, cooperatives, professional services firms, government departments, non-profit organisations and fast-growing entrepreneurial businesses.

A former General Manager, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar for Hill & Knowlton, one of the world’s largest and longest-established public relations firms, Julian has particular expertise in strategic positioning, investor relations, issues management and profile raising. Earlier in his career he spent several years as a journalist on National Business Review before becoming Press Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister of New Zealand. He has also worked in Australia and China.

Julian’s academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (Henley Management College), Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, and a Certificate in Journalism. His Master’s Degree dissertation topic was: Business Development in China.

Julian is also a Trustee and Secretary of Urban Ecoliving Trust, a non-profit organisation established in New Zealand to educate school-age children about sustainable living.
